Mayer Hawthorne.

A year ago I was scouting on myspace as usual checking out artist while I came across someone in the list, Mayer Hawthorne. The first song I heard was Maby so, Maby no. I loved it for it's unique sound. You just won't hear an artist now adays with the music Hawthorne brings. He brings back this groovy, old and soulish vibe. Just one look at this guy and you know he has style. I checked out his album and it really is rather relaxing music. It amazes me how high he can sing but at the same time how low he can sing. The other day I searched him again and came across one of his covers. I Left My Heart In San Fransico, an amazing track. In a lá Sinatra style, nice and slow. The piano that joins in just gives me the chills, just like the piano and music work from the animation movie Up. If ever anyone would be able to slowdance with someone special to this it sure would be unforgettable! One of his LP's is for sure ony my 'want' list :)
