Papa's Collection.

As I ate my way through dinner I noticed that my dad had some old CD's out. On top of the stack, the album from Creedence Clearwater Revival; Chronicle. The first thing that came to my mind was... Susie Q. As a child at the age of 4 or 5 years old I fell in love with this song. I remember as a kid just singing along with my dad. Music somehow brings back the memories, and one reason why I keep it close to me.

I guess I just grabbed the whole stack with albums from Simon & Garfunkel and Meatloaf. While I was at it I checked out the ol' good cabinet filled with CD albums from my dad. Shelves filled with albums from way past my time. Just by chance the other day I found a box hidden in my room, with words marked on it: Records. I opened it up as if it was Christmas eve (: ! The box was surely big.. and heavy hehe. It's the second box of records I found in the house, and it was packed with amazing stuff. From the Beach boys to Kiss! Sadly enough the needle of my record player is recked, and the spare is no where in sight!

While I'm listining to "Have you ever seen the rain?" right now, I came to notice that my dad has been a music freak (still is to be honest) just like me. He sure did raise me with his taste of music of his time when I was younger and I really appreciate it. Thanks Paps!

You can kill the stereo, but you can't kill the music.
